Chosen by Swarovski with the task of creating the handbag offering of the famed crystal business, Marina Raphael creates three exclusive designs that channel the company’s DNA of continuous crystal innovation.

Working closely alongside Swarovski’s Creative Director, Giovanna Engelbert, Marina designs a set of eclectic handbags that resemble objets d’art. The duo came together creatively to look at how they could subvert traditional handbag design. Pushing aside the expected, Giovanna and Marina set about creating handbags that act as jewellery. Aiming to inspire and delight, the creations are intended to place assemblies of large crystals in the palm of your hand, and form a conceptually abstract yet practical accessory to carry your essentials.

Each perfectly cut, luminescent design blends Swarovski’s tradition with cutting edge craftsmanship and innovation.
